Retransmission of Broadcasting

A retransmission of broadcasting operator is an entity that provides customers with third-party television programming in the form of bundled packages – commonly referred to as satellite or cable TV. From a legal standpoint, such an entity must obtain a license from Intergram. This obligation applies to any operator offering services to customers in the Czechia, regardless of where it is based or where the technical transmission originates.

We distinguish between the following types of licenses:

  • retransmission of broadcasting (via cable, satellite, or internet – IPTV)

  • provision of additional services (catch-up, nPVR, multiroom)

    Contact the Licensing and Sales Department, which will conclude a licensing agreement with you.

    You must submit a quarterly report on the number of connections, which serves as the basis for invoicing your remuneration.
