About Intergram
We represent performing artists and producers of phonograms and audio-visual fixations, managing their economic rights. We connect artists, producers, and labels with broadcasters and other users. We ensure their work is legally and financially settled, both in the Czechia and abroad. Our collective rights management is authorized by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
Intergram was established in 1991 for the purposes of the provision of cultural, educational and social services and for the purposes of the development and support of the performing art by organizations associating a significant number of copyright holders, specifically: Actors’ Association, Union of Authors and Performers, Artistic Association Artes, Union of Professional Singers of the Czech Republic, Union of Orchestral Musicians of the Czech Republic, Society of Concert Artists, Association of Performing Artists, and the Czech National Group of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
We are a Collective Administrator – What does that mean?
Collective administration is used in cases where there are numerous rightsholders on one side, and many users on the other. Imagine if a music club operator had to sign contracts with every artist featured on every track they play. Or if a performing artists had to contract with every single venue where their music might be played.
Thanks to collective administrators, broadcasters, business operators, and other users are free to share the entire music repertoire with the public, provided they pay fair remuneration to the collective administrator. It is then its responsibility to distribute the collected royalties as accurately as possible to all entitled rightsholders.
